Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 10, 2026
At MOXIES (“MOXIES,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), we take privacy seriously and are committed to protecting the personal information we collect, receive, use, and process in connection with our website, our services, our communications, and the projects we run for our clients.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit our website, fill out a form, reach out to us, book a consultation, purchase or use our services, respond to our communications, or otherwise engage with MOXIES in any other way. By using our website or services, you’re acknowledging the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
What we collect depends on how you interact with us.
Information you give us directly
This includes things like your name, email address, phone number, business or company name, business address, website URL, and general business information. It also covers account or login details, anything you share when reaching out to us or submitting a contact, onboarding, consultation, or project form, appointment and scheduling details, information you provide when requesting or purchasing a service, project-related information, billing and transaction details, and whatever you send us by email, phone, text message, form, or any other channel. Payment card information is typically handled directly by our third-party payment processors, so MOXIES doesn’t necessarily see or store your full card details.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website or use certain online tools, we may automatically pick up technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, the pages you visited, the site or link that referred you, the date and time of your visit, your approximate location, and general information about how you interact with the site. This can also include cookie identifiers and similar data gathered through cookies, pixels, analytics tools, and comparable technologies.
2. How We Collect Information
We gather information directly from you — when you contact us, ask about our services, fill out a form, book a consultation or appointment, or reach out by email, phone, SMS, or any other method. We also collect it through your use of our website, through cookies and similar technologies, and through third-party services connected to our website or services. Where we’re delivering contracted work for a client, we may receive information from that client, from platforms the client has authorized us to access, and from service providers who support our operations. In some cases, we may also receive information from third-party platforms when you’ve authorized them to share it with us, or when access to that information is reasonably necessary to deliver an agreed service.
3. Information Provided Through Client Projects
When we’re working on a project for a client, we may receive, access, store, transmit, or otherwise process information that the client gives us or makes accessible to us. Exactly what that involves depends on the project — website development, CRM implementation, automation, AI, customer communication, reputation management, reporting, software integration, or any other kind of digital infrastructure work we might be building for them.
Depending on the project, this can include customer or lead contact information, names, email addresses, phone numbers, CRM records, form submissions, appointment details, customer communications, reviews or feedback, sales or pipeline data, website data, marketing data, account information, and anything else needed to configure or run the client’s systems.
Where we’re processing information on a client’s behalf, that client stays responsible for making sure their own collection and use of that information complies with the law, and for giving their own customers, leads, users, or contacts any notices or getting any consents that are required.
4. How We Use Information
We use personal information to provide and manage our services, respond to your questions and requests, and communicate with clients and prospective clients. That includes scheduling consultations and appointments, setting up and managing accounts, processing transactions, and preparing, developing, and delivering the projects we take on — building websites, configuring CRM systems, setting up automated workflows, and supporting customer communications, lead management, and sales processes along the way.
We also use it to provide customer support, maintain and improve our website and services, troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, and analyze website or campaign activity so we can keep improving the experience. On the security side, we use information to protect our systems, prevent fraud or misuse, and enforce our agreements and policies. And, of course, we use it to meet our legal, contractual, or regulatory obligations, and to send transactional, administrative, business-related, and — where the law allows — marketing communications. If we ever plan to use information for a purpose beyond what’s described here, we’ll disclose that at the time we collect it.
5. SMS and Text Messaging
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may send SMS messages related to inquiries, appointments, account or project activity, customer support, service updates, follow-ups, transactional matters, and — where it’s permitted — marketing or promotions.
Agreeing to marketing texts is never a condition of buying anything from us. How often you hear from us can vary, and standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and where it’s supported, you can reply HELP for assistance. We don’t sell mobile numbers or SMS consent information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Where we build SMS or messaging systems for a client, that client is responsible for getting any legally required consent from their own contacts and complying with applicable messaging laws, carrier rules, registration requirements, and opt-out obligations.
6. Email Communications
We may send you transactional, administrative, service-related, or marketing emails. The transactional and service-related ones might cover appointment details, project updates, account notices, billing notices, service changes, support communications, or anything else we need to send to actually provide our services. Where the law allows, we may also send marketing emails, and you can unsubscribe from those using the link included in the message. Unsubscribing from marketing emails won’t necessarily stop you from receiving transactional, administrative, or service-related ones — those keep coming as long as we’re working together.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, pixels, analytics tools, and similar technologies to run, secure, understand, and improve our website and services. That covers keeping the site working properly, remembering your preferences, understanding traffic patterns, seeing how visitors use the site, measuring marketing and advertising performance, understanding where visitors come from, catching security issues or misuse, and generally improving how the site works and feels.
These tools can pick up information like your IP address, device and browser details, the pages you viewed, referring URLs, how you interacted with the site, timestamps, and cookie or device identifiers. Where the law requires it, we’ll provide cookie notices, consent controls, or other choices around non-essential cookies, and you can usually manage cookies through your browser settings too — though turning some of them off may affect how well the site works.
[Before launch, confirm which tools MOXIES actually uses — Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Google Ads, or other analytics/advertising platforms — and update this section accordingly.]
8. Third-Party Services and Client-Authorized Platforms
We rely on a number of third-party services to run our business, manage our website, communicate with people, and deliver work for our clients — things like website hosting and domain management, CRM, email and SMS/phone communication tools, appointment scheduling, payment processing, website analytics, automation and AI platforms, cloud hosting and storage, customer support tools, marketing and advertising platforms, reporting, security tools, and other software we depend on. That can include providers like Google, CRM platforms, payment processors, hosting companies, communication tools, AI services, and automation software, among others. Each of these providers handles information under their own privacy policies and terms, and we don’t control how they operate independently of us.
When we’re working on a client’s project, we may also connect, configure, manage, or use third-party platforms that the client has picked out or authorized, which means information may pass through those platforms too. We’d encourage clients to review the privacy policies and terms of anything they choose to use alongside our services.
9. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Systems
Some of what we build uses artificial intelligence, automation, or other machine-assisted technology — for things like customer communications, lead qualification and routing, appointment scheduling, customer support, follow-ups, marketing, CRM management, workflow automation, reporting, content assistance, and general business operations. Information that flows through or gets processed by these systems may be sent to the third-party technology providers that power those features.
We try to use these technologies responsibly and in ways that fit their intended purpose, but AI and automated systems can sometimes produce incomplete, incorrect, or unexpected results — that’s just the nature of the technology. When we provide AI-powered systems to a client, that client is responsible for reviewing how the system gets used in their business and making sure it complies with the law and their own obligations to their customers and users.
10. How We Share Information
We share personal information when it’s reasonably necessary to run our business, deliver our services, or meet a legal obligation. That can mean sharing with service providers, contractors, and technology partners — hosting companies, CRM providers, communication tools, payment processors, analytics providers, cloud services, AI or automation partners, security providers, professional advisors, and any third-party platforms a client has authorized us to use.
We may also share information when it’s reasonably necessary to comply with the law, respond to a lawful request, comply with a court order or legal process, protect the rights, safety, or property of MOXIES, our clients, our users, or others, investigate suspected fraud, misuse, or a security incident, enforce our agreements or policies, or protect our systems.
We don’t sell personal information in the ordinary sense of that word, and we don’t sell or share mobile numbers or SMS consent information with third parties for their own marketing use.
11. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. That includes access controls, account protections, authentication measures, technical safeguards, and operational practices appropriate to the kind of information involved. That said, no method of transmitting or storing data online is ever completely foolproof, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. Where the law requires it, we’ll provide appropriate notice if a qualifying security incident occurs.
12. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as it’s reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy — to deliver requested services, maintain business and client records, meet contractual obligations, keep transaction records, provide support, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory requirements, prevent fraud or misuse, and keep our systems secure. Exactly how long varies depending on the type of information, why it was collected, the services involved, and any contractual or legal requirements that apply. Once information is no longer reasonably needed, we’ll delete, anonymize, archive, or otherwise dispose of it in line with the law and our own internal practices.
13. Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights over your personal information — to find out what we’ve collected, request access to it, ask us to correct inaccuracies, request deletion, learn how it’s used or shared, object to or restrict certain processing, opt out of marketing, withdraw consent where processing is based on it, or exercise other rights the law in your area gives you. What’s actually available to you depends on your jurisdiction and may be subject to legal exceptions. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a privacy request. To submit one, use the contact details in the Contact Us section below.
14. Marketing Choices
You can opt out of marketing communications any time — use the unsubscribe link for emails, or reply STOP to opt out of SMS marketing. You may still receive transactional, administrative, security, or service-related messages that are necessary to maintain our relationship or deliver something you’ve requested.
15. Children’s Privacy
MOXIES serves businesses and adult users, and our website and services aren’t directed at children. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we ever find out we’ve collected a child’s information in a way the law doesn’t allow, we’ll take reasonable steps to delete it. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please reach out to us.
16. Third-Party Links
Our website or communications may link out to other websites, services, apps, or platforms run by third parties. We’re not responsible for the privacy, security, content, or data practices of those third parties, so we’d suggest reviewing their privacy policies and terms before sharing any personal information with them.
17. Business Transfers
If MOXIES is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, asset sale, ownership transfer, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, personal information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that deal, subject to applicable law. Any organization that takes over would continue handling your information under this policy or as otherwise allowed by law.
18. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, our technology, how we do business, legal requirements, or our privacy practices generally. When we do, we’ll update the “Last Updated” date at the top. Where the law requires it, we’ll give additional notice of material changes. Continuing to use our website or services after an update takes effect means you’re acknowledging the revised policy, where that’s permitted by law.
