Moxies is a digital infrastructure studio in North Carolina. We build the connected system a business actually runs on — the site, the store, the CRM, the payments, the shipping, the bookings, the follow-up and the assistant answering at midnight — designed as one thing, not eight subscriptions that don't talk.
A website is the front door. Infrastructure is everything behind it that turns a visitor into a paid, scheduled, shipped, remembered customer without an owner doing it by hand.
Most small businesses buy a website and keep running the business by hand. Orders get copied into a spreadsheet. Bookings arrive in three different inboxes. A lead texts on Saturday night and hears back Tuesday. The site looks modern; the operation behind it is still manual.
That gap is expensive and invisible — it shows up as lost jobs, late replies and owners working nights on admin instead of the business. We exist to close it. When we finish, an order places itself, a booking books itself, a customer gets an answer immediately, and the numbers are already counted.
The measure of our work isn't how the site looks on a Monday. It's how much of the business runs without anyone touching it.
Four commitments we make on every engagement, written into the agreement — not implied.
Before anything is built, you get one written scope with the price and the timeline in it. What’s included is listed. What isn’t is listed too. No creeping invoices.
Site, store, CRM, payments, shipping, scheduling and messaging are designed together and tested end to end. We don’t hand over pieces and let you wire them up.
Launch day is the start of the relationship. Integrations are monitored, workflows are fixed, configuration keeps up with the business — and you talk to the people who built it.
We’re not resellers of someone else’s template. We build our own products, which means we understand the systems we connect at the level of how they actually behave.
Alongside client work we develop our own software. The current one is a mobile platform for field-service companies — pressure washing, roofing, concrete, siding — where a customer traces a property on a map, the app measures it and prices the job instantly, books a slot the crew actually has open, and an assistant handles the questions on both sides.
Building our own product changes how we build yours. Pricing logic, scheduling, automated messaging and revenue reporting aren't features we read about — they're problems we've solved in production, with our own name on the result.
See the work →Owner-run businesses where the work is real and the admin has outgrown the team.
We're a poor fit for one-off cosmetic redesigns, for projects with no owner empowered to decide, and for anyone looking for the cheapest possible page. Infrastructure takes decisions and access — if that's not on the table, we'll say so on the first call.
